    Pros

Management is extremely nice and helpful. Office has a laid back atmosphere with plenty of fresh faces to bounce new ideas off of.

    Cons

Upper management only comes to town from New York every couple of weeks so the office can get lazy during the bi-weeks. Lots of finger pointing when problems arise.

    Advice to Management

Keep your good people and think about replacing the ones that are too bureaucratic. Also, do not wait for problems for to get too large to handle.

I worked at Vision Financial Markets full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the people that I formed lasting relationships with!!

    Cons

Where would I begin!??! Management has a very poor way of trying to grow the business. Too much of a "buddy-buddy" mentality. Surprised that they are still in business!!

    Advice to Management

Hope your resumes are up to date!! For as many bridges that you have burned, it will be difficult for you out there!!

    Cons

Everything! If you want to work like a slave and get pennies work here! Unorganized!

    Advice to Management

    More structure and moral.

I have been working at Vision Financial Markets full-time

    Pros

Gateway to the industry. Good for those just graduating from undergrad looking to take securities licensing exams at a small brokerage firm. But stay motivated and get out quick, don't become stuck working here. Move on to bigger and better things.

    Cons

Management treats their employees like cattle. Benefits are sub par and salaries are way below industry averages. No raises for non-managerial employees within the past 2years despite new business. Borderline abusive practices by hiring interns, and paying them 11$ an hour to do full time work. Click-ish environment, seems more like a family business rather than being taken seriously based on merit. What a sad and disappointing experience. Managers only interact with their teams via email in most departments despite being literally two doors away and in the same physical vicinity. In other words, rarely any face-to-face conversations. Probably the worst job I've ever had.

    Advice to Management

Include other employees in the conversation, there is a huge waste of human brain power @this place. There are so many talented people at your office sitting right below your nose, humble yourself and look for the untapped potential to improve your struggling business.

Small company so you can immerse yourself into various departments.

    Cons

Not many people seem to want to help you.

    Advice to Management

Be more serious about employee development.

    Pros

Great assistant to CEO, gets everything done. Management is available to employees and open to growth.

    Cons

IT is lacking in general. Most services are out sourced to third parties so it is difficult to get support when problems arise.

    Pros

It has good people working there, opportunities and good work balance. I recommend to anyone looking in this industry to check it out.

    Cons

I do not have any negative things to say. It is a business that gives opportunity to those who make an effort to advance. The industry is competitive and rewards those who strive to achieve.

I worked at Vision Financial Markets full-time

    Pros

Great co-workers. Ability to take licensing exams. Decent work/life balance (9-5). You can learn both sides of the market if you're willing.

    Cons

Vision does not compete on salary. Upper & Mid management is a joke, and leads through fear. Company will not spend money to increase team sizes, and as a result, departments suffer with larger work loads. CEO is two faced.

    Advice to Management

Take a step back and realize that the company faults lie with leadership, or lack thereof.
