Pros

The people I worked with, they made it hard to leave.

Cons

Where do I start..first of all the number 1 reason I left is because the Dr. also the owner of the practice had a hard time paying bills. The accounts we had with frame and contact companies were always on hold due to overdue balances. Countless times I had to lie to patients that their order was on back order basically lie to their faces that made me very uncomfortable. Second is there is really no benefits to working there, they do not offer medical insurance and buying glasses from them would cost me almost as much as I would pay retail. I could go on and on but lastly it was the owner(the Dr.) she has to be one of the most unpleasant person I have encountered. These are just a few things on the list.

Pros

Work with people in a great office Wonderful co-workers and manager Doing something important in the medical field No prior experience needed Only need HS diploma Great training and career opportunity Doing a variety of tasks daily

Cons

Sometimes office is too busy; short-handed on busiest days but probably would be too crowded with more employees. Really needs someone whose job is just answering the phone.

Pros

You get to work alongside great people.

Cons

All those great people you work with along with yourself are worked to the bone with low pay. The management is terrible, always looking to put problems on employees and never takes responsibility for their own actions, never showed up early or stayed late to help drowning employees. Owner is all about making money, no matter the cost to employees and likes to intimidate those lower on the totem pole then he is.
