Pros

The health benefits and pay were good. The work is important.

Cons

Tyrannical leadership. They are being sued. They have no controls. Individuals were caught stealing from the organization. Turn over is high and turn over of people of color is 100%. The founders hire their friends as consultants and undermine the actual employees. We have had 3 or 4 organization names we operated under. Unless this is a last resort I would look anywhere else in voting rights. the money is not worth the pain

Pros

Benefits and decent pay is all they have to offer, but your soul will be crushed and compromised.

Cons

They are actively being sued for Racial Discrimination, illegal 501c3 & 501c4, retaliation, and disability discrimination.

Morally reprehensible org, but with good benefits

Pros

The salary and benefits are good

Cons

Unfortunately it feels like they are trying to pay people off to sell their soul. This org is the epitome of white saviorism and an organization that is grifting resources from other orgs. Culture is unfriendly and openly aggressive to people of color, especially Black women. There is no concern with rules, whether it is lobbying, or tax codes. Most of leadership has no prior experience in voting (or legislative/policy campaigns), so decision making is based on what they perceive will bring clout and more resources, not what is best for people and communities. Very disorganized; went through 3 reorgs in one year. Turnover is insanely high.
