      Heads of Departments Don't Have to Have Any Experience

      I never found a single one

      Cons

      Youth is valued above everything including experience, to a shocking degree. Case in point, there is at least one head of a department that had not one single day of experience or education in the field, prior to being hired. This person fired almost every single educated/certified professional that was in the department and replaced them with people under 35 years of age.

      Pros

      *Great Culture / Work life Balance with mandatory vacations *Management is always willing to listen to new ideas / better ways of doing things. *Pay is generally on par with the position with the benefits being strong (ie free health insurance) *Company growth potential both personally and the company as a whole

      Cons

      Not a con per say, just something to keep in mind. Teams can be smaller and you will generally be expected to take the initiative and be able to work with minimal assistance. That is not to say you are on your own, just must be a self starter to really fit in.

As we are in a high growth period, we strongly encourage our staff to take time off whenever they feel it is necessary. Having healthy and happy employees is a top priority for us. Senior Management conducts employee engagement surveys twice a year to get feedback from the staff on how they can better manage and offer great working conditions to everyone.
