      -Product managers, engineering managers, most supply chain members have a profound lack of basic knowledge about processes/procedures necessary to do their own jobs. -Operations' group managers have limited ability to carry out or understand the types of activities they supervise/manage. -Dominant management techniques consist of forwarding e-mails & meandering conversations. -Engineering Group owns nothing, blocks/rejects everything. -Quality Group-non-existent

      OPS acts as a different company Dictatorship Favoritism Discrimination against experienced and aged No directions given from the upper management in OPS, but they take credits of their associates The upper management's lack of knowledge in their own area. They have title, but they do not understand what is going on. Hiring friends of the upper management for high pay positions but they do not have experiences or credentials

      Yaskawa's reputation in Industrial Automation has been built on the quality of its products and support. The demands of the job are high and Engineers are proud of the work they do. In exchange for high demands, Yaskawa makes an effort to take care of its Empolyees. As an employee, I have always been able to count on having clear objectives and requirements for moving forward in my career.

      Cons

      There is no coasting at Yaskawa; expect long hours. Need to communicate with parent corporation and support sibling corporations increases the hours an Engineer is expected to be available and blurs the lines between personal time and company time.
