I have been working at Youi full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Competitive Salary and Leave Great location

    Cons

This only applies to Youi IT: - Disgraceful culture. Despite claiming a set of values, the following are common: - Constructive Dismissal is practised frequently - Slanderous and damaging behaviour toward staff who have resigned. - People will use your ideas to progress themselves. - Few processes and procedures; those that exist are implemented very subjectively. - No training for IT staff

    Advice to Management

Implement a 360 review process so fairness can be introduced into this company. Stop practicing constructive dismissal and focus on eradicating slander and nepotism. Examine the rate of attrition under certain managers. Start investing in your IT staff.

Enjoyable people to work with. Great support from my manager. Good incentives

    Cons

Stressful environment. Everything is based on your performance. Extra training is available- but only if your interested in leadership

    Advice to Management

Have more of a positive focus. Focus on wether the customer was shoot with the outcome, not wether there was a sale

I worked at Youi full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fantastic training provided. Great working hours, only work one Saturday every three weeks.

    Cons

I don’t even know where to start. The lies start from the very beginning. At the interview they paint an elegant picture of how much you can earn and the rewards you will get ..... All Lies. Be careful as they neglect to tell you that you salary is inclusive of Super. You need a bachelor degree to understand their commission structure and don’t expect to make any real money until three months after you have started.... However what they don’t tell you once you have finished training is the near impossible to avoid mine field of compliance traps which are designed to penalise your commission which you will wear for a very long time. Management are inexperienced and have no accountability. They prance around acting like they have some sort of moral compass however when their back is to the wall, they are the first to throw you under the bus. The Micromanagement is the worst I have ever experienced and boarders on workplace harassment. You feel like you are on a Hamster wheel every day as they do not let you stray to far away from their scripting for nearly 95% of the call interaction. You feel like you are serving a prison sentence rather then a valued career. Youi have not had a good track record of compliance as they have been investigated by the ACCC in recent years for very fraudulent sales techniques. However they have now gone from one extreme to the other, from using dodgy sales tactics to a highly controlled, highly micromanaging work environment which detracts from any human element. What is left are employees with High Anxiety and Depression.

    Advice to Management

Higher GLT management need to review both the Inbound and Internet sales teams as there is a clear contradiction between their company values and what is really happening on the floor.
