Pros

Flat organization within software development which allows individual contributors to own tasks, communicate with stakeholders, and have true product responsibility and accountability.

Cons

Management team is not transparent and even worse not aligned. There is no coherent vision or message, and they don't listen to feedback. They believe structure changes culture; therefore, there have been many structural changes in recent years, but the distrust, lack of information, and lack of investing in employees makes morale very low. The senior management team runs the company like they fear for their jobs. Decisions made beneath the senior management team are changed, ignored, or punished. Moreover, HR does not support employees. They support the senior management team. HR processes are back in the 20th century.

Pros

As other posts have mentioned, there really is not much left on the positive side here. Everyone worth anything at their job is active on the job market. So there will be more job openings soon if for some crazy reason you want to work here.

Cons

There are so many to mention but at a high level: Software is rolling back into archaic standards with leadership and process. The software tech is already there. This company is the poster child of an Agile adoption that has failed directly from the ability of executive leadership to buy in themselves. The COO specifically. Now new software leadership is rolling out their own custom process that "will work". How? Great question that no one can answer. HR is a disaster. The behavior out of this group over the years is appalling. They have a strangle hold over the entire company but have no clue what they are doing if you compare them to other HR orgs. No on ever holds them accountable. No one holds anyone accountable really. The company restructures so much. Semi annually at least. Its comical at this point. This is a reflection directly on the Executive staff and the CEO. Dont bother trying to be engaged, everything will change under the guise of fixing problems and youll be shuffled around. However no one can tell you how those problems will be fixed in the restructuring either. You will hear the phrase "we will learn and adapt" often. But they dont learn. They just shuffle the deck. Over and over and over again. The nepotism is like nothing you will have ever experienced anywhere. The executives are hiring all their cronies from other old companies of theirs and putting them in Sr. positions. Further, many that have blatantly failed at their jobs damaging both the company and the people doing the work. They are then promoted to higher ranks after creating these total disasters. Those that carried the burden from the outcome of these disasters are placated, ignored and pushed aside. There are so many more but I think you may understand the environment and culture with the above and other reviews. Unless you want your career to die a horrible death in the dark ages of tech, process, and leadership skills, avoid working at this place at all costs. And this goes for literally every role in the company.
