I worked at iEntry full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Friendly co-workers
    - Allows content creators to work without too much overhead
    - Good benefits
    - Good pay

    Cons

    - CEO is hardly ever around
    - Management doesn't know what to do half the time.
    - Hardware was constantly failing so we couldn't do our jobs.
    - Management would frequently leave for parties/leisure trips.
    - Close proximity to very loud co-workers that made it hard to concentrate.
    - CEO forces his personal beliefs on employees.
    - During layoffs, management remained quiet and wouldn't tell us what was going on.

    Advice to Management

The CEO needs to be around more often. He also needs to make decisions that benefit the company as a whole, and not just his ego. Management needs to take their jobs more seriously as well. Finally, the company needs to upgrade their hardware. Bad gateway errors every day makes it hard to create content for the site.

I have been working at iEntry full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Laid back atmosphere, friendly folks

    Cons

CEO needs to stop worrying about his appearance and status and worry about funding the business, poor equipment and poorly maintained equipment, outdated technology and software, won't spend ANY funds to fix or upgrade anything, lack of organization and structure, staff doesn't know much about web development, to much "mine mine mine" mentality

    Advice to Management

Someone should tell the CEO to sell his jag and use that money to invest the funds back in the business. Using servers from 1998 isn't acceptable by todays standards, heres a tip, U-P-G-R-A-D-E. Treat your support team with a little more respect.

    Pros

    Laid-back atmosphere, friendly among peers.

    Cons

    CEO doesn't care about employees.

    Advice to Management

Have to be friendly and less condescending to workers. Better performance reviews, and raises once in a while. More vacation time also.

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at iEntry full-time

    Pros

While I worked there my co-workers were great. Everyone got along from different departments, and there wasn't any "my department is better than your department".

    Cons

CEO was horrible. He wanted to rule his employees with an iron fist. He used fear tatics to scare people, like threating to lay people off. He also had all the monitors pointed in a way that he could walk by and see what everyone was doing. He was more interested in promoting his ego than running the company.
