Flawed product and terrible management

Pros

I genuinely struggle to find ANY pros and trust me I'm trying really hard. I would encourage ANYONE who's considering this company to seriously look somewhere else. Please get in touch with us via LinkedIn and any of us will tell you at least 10 very good reasons for running away, in fact we're ALL looking to leave as soon as the right opportunity arise.

Cons

The product - terrible flawed solution, it just doesn't work and customers are pissed, in fact the churn is well above 10% The culture - since the new management came on board, they completely restructured the company and being here for many years I can tell I've NEVER dealt with such an ego driven, confrontational, abusive company like this one. EVERYONE always feel the need of sharing unsolicited strong opinions in a very confrontational way. The pay - Commissions and bonuses are just a chimera as the execs always find excuses for not paying those whilst they keep hiring at a very high salary rate their friends and family members (it's a public company, you can easily cross check these things and you'll be amazed how many people have the ceo, the cco and the VP of sales same surname. Then a quick social media check will clarify the relationships.) The management - these guys are just a joke having no idea on what they're doing. The majority of the so called deals they're so proudly shouting around aren't worth the paper they're written on, especially the ones with the big logos. The execs are just trying to play smoke and mirrors with the analysts and investors in the desperate attempt to be acquired as soon as possible.

Pros

Good colleagues. Product does help travelers with their connectivity. Great office location. Lots of responsibility for each team member, and opportunity to make big impact for company. Company is public, fortunes appear to be turning the corner. Word is getting around about the value of the services. Nasdaq: iPAS

Cons

Management views staff as completely disposable. The team experiments and makes large changes on regular basis, and has switched directions a couple times in my short stint here. They are very stingy with bonus and commission compensation. Whether this is their all star performers or people they want to show the door, everybody gets low balled. Turnover is amazing in so many departments. Sales, marketing, HR, operations, finance. It doesn't matter. They have had layoffs for several years, and even with new management 2016 was no exception. They laid off so many people they had to bring back a couple to do critical jobs a couple months later. Nepotism is practiced here despite this being a public company. Good jobs also given to ex-employees and family friends of leadership (ex. CEO, CCO). If you're not in the gang, and things get tough, you are and will be disposable since there are protected staff members here. The public stock and financials look ok, but the restructuring seems to have no end.

Pros

Good remote work options. Used to be good folks to work with before Mr Griffiths laid them all off.

Cons

Management doesn't fill positions when people leave so the ones that remain have to do 3 or more jobs just to keep things going. Only 1 qualified admin left to keep 4 datacenter running
