    Pros

Great team and enviroment to work in. Oppurtunities for personal and professional development is huge for the fact that we are part of the travelocity/Sabre-Holdings group.

As the company itself is so large, the communication from senior management and the CEO's is amazingly good. There are 4 or so intranet sites to keep all employee's of the different umbrella's of the group being kept up to date.

    Cons

Benefits and compensations are good but in comparison to other companies in the travel sector they are not the greatest.

We have a choice of 1 of 3 for benefits: pension, health care or fitness.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up - but try and hold off on the redundancies and job moves to India!

    Pros

Determined to take the company to the next level in customer experience, mobile developments, and consolidation of applications to streamline effectiveness, and improve inventory.

    Cons

Much expertise is going/has gone due to restructuring by Italian owners to make us leaner but potentially leaving the company exposed.

    Advice to Management

Clear directive on future plans & strategy. Needs a more professional approach with defined processes and procedures. A .com which should be dynamic and responsive also needs structure.

    Pros

Good Company, good salaries. Compared to other Italian companies it seems more organized and structurated. Always space to improve.

    Cons

Too many change of organization...too many. It's stressfull form an employee point of view.
With the new "Minimum Salary" the company do not differenciate more the expertise that an employee has, this is not correct.
    No benefit.

    Advice to Management

Recreate again difference between employes given by the experience a person has.

    I worked at lastminute.com full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good work life balance and the hours aren't bad.
    Recognisable brand image.
Nice office, although half of this has now been axed since BRG made redundancies.
Some fun aspects in terms of doing stunts with clients and attending events.

    Cons

There was a positive and fun culture at the beginning, however after the BRG acquisition this all changed and went downhill very quickly.
    Tedious middle management.
Constant change in strategic direction of company, project after project with no consistency.
Morale very low and atmosphere within work environment isn't great.
Very little opportunity to progress and pay is below average for the industry.

    Advice to Management

    Pay staff better.
Set out clear strategic objectives and stick to them, don't keep chopping and changing.
Ensure that there are opportunities to progress within the organisation rather than allowing stagnation and morale to plumet.
Make it a fun place to work again, without tedious middle management.
Allow other team members to flourish rather than just the people who have been around for a longer period of time.
