    I worked at thyssenkrupp full-time

    Pros

Sometimes it's quiet. That's the best thing I can think of for a pro.

    Cons

Poor Management and culture, no room for advancement. Don't come here if you're looking to grow your career.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers that are strong leaders to build the company from within.

I have been working at thyssenkrupp full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, flexible hours, good life/work balance, good co-workers

    Cons

Based on what branch and location you are employed at, long-term growth may be scarce depending on the size of your particular branch. Growth often requires moving to another city and/or state, unless your warehouse consistently grows.

I have been working at thyssenkrupp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company has good health benefits and all employees get two weeks vacation upon being hired on full time with the company.

    Cons

We do not have a local HR office. The company didn't offer any training at our facility or orientation.

    Advice to Management

    Better training.

I worked at thyssenkrupp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good substantive work. Some really good and talented people.

    Cons

Highly dysfunctional. No alignment with parent company in Germany. The organization does not know what it wants to be (a conglomeration of companies or one aligned org) and where it is going (keep the regional headquarters? Move it? Keep the people? Outsource them?). They do lot value their employees in any demonstrable way. Senior execs engage in unethical behavior.

    Advice to Management

Align strategically. Clean house and hire real leaders.

    Pros

All benifits day one, health dential, vacation hours pro rated on hire date. Bonus every month. Free life insurance, free lunch when accident free milestones are met. A lot of overtime. I have loged 80 hours in one week. Paid every friday.

    Cons

Weekend work, bonus can be small. Will be charged 40 dollars if you smoke, hire time is a process, outdated equipment

    Advice to Management

    Hire more, better training program

I have been working at thyssenkrupp full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is a good resume builder and the job brings on unique challenges that I have to solve on a daily basis.

    Cons

There are gray areas that I have to get into frequently to complete tasks, all while getting paid below my value and not getting much appreciation from management.

    Advice to Management

Give your employees more respect and pay them what their worth.
