At Array, you don’t need to be the boss to be a leader. We've built out a library of resources in our Team Member Development Hub and share tips regularly on actions you can take to hone your leadership skills right now and become a highly respected and influential team member. We encourage team members and their managers to develop an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and do a mini SWAT analysis to drive growth. Array encourages team members to devote time to daily development, including providing ample opportunities to connect with people across the organization. Whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert (or somewhere in between), you can establish the kinds of meaningful relationships that are key to building influence on your team without leaving your home.
Nicole Bixler, LCSW, is our Featured Clinician for the month of January, and we are excited to celebrate this truly dynamic individual. Since joining the Array clinical team this past Summer, we’ve received glowing feedback from her patients including this recent note: “Nicole was outstanding. She inherited my case from a colleague who was no longer able to meet my needs. She took the time to get to know me and tailored my therapy to meet my unique needs. She was professional and well organized. Hats off to her performance.” This lover of carnival snacks spent her High School years living in Greece, used to play roller derby and enjoys cooking elaborate meals for friends. Her passion for reducing community harm led Nicole and her husband to build a street-based outreach organization based in Philadelphia in 2017. Operation in My Back Yard provides support, meals, supplies, recovery housing scholarships and various resources to help those in need. We are very lucky to have Nicole on our team!
Array's BIPOC Affinity Group hosted a pre-MLK Day event so that team members could gather to celebrate and discuss the importance of MLK Day. As many know, MLK day is not only a holiday but also a national day of service, so that we can honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. who fought for civil rights and racial equality for African Americans. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of MLK's work and shared some ideas on how to make the most of the day of service within your own community and family.

We love hearing the amazing feedback we receive from patients every single day, but even more so, we love getting great feedback from our partner sites. We celebrate our clinicians by sharing those stories! One of our partners in Michigan shares what an awesome job Varnell Person-Turner, LCSW, is doing for their patients and community.
We celebrate our valued Nurse Practitioner’s this week, November 13th -19th! This year’s theme, 'Rising to Meet the Needs of Patients' highlights the contributions of our NP’s who go above and beyond to provide high-quality, patient-centered behavioral services, earning additional CME’s, supporting our partners, and working alongside our Psychiatrists and Therapists here at Array and beyond. We sincerely thank all of our NPs for all that they do and want to recognize how much we appreciate them! One NP we would like to spotlight is an AtHome Care Clinician, Mariam Kashani! We have received a near overwhelming amount of positive feedback from patients, and we are excited to highlight the amazing work you do! Here are just a few of the comments we've received:
We're honored to announce our Employee in the Spotlight this month, Farai Musariri! Farai joined Array in July 2020 as a Business Development Associate and more recently transitioned to a new role as our Senior Manager of Payor Relations. Farai has been very active within our Array community and leads our BIPOC Affinity Group. He loves working for Array and being a part of an “evolving environment where we are reacting to the needs in the communities we serve and tailoring our service offerings to meet those needs.” On a personal level, Farai shares that his spirituality keeps him grounded and supports his mental health and well-being, and the birth of his 6-month-old daughter, Thandie, has been a life-changing experience. Please join me in celebrating our amazing colleague by reading his full article here.
A huge shout out to Jaclyn B., Davina R., Rebecca F., Jessica W., and most especially Dena F. for using their Volunteer Time Off yesterday to take part in helping MudGirls Studios in Atlantic City. MudGirls is a non-profit dedicated to providing opportunities in art and entrepreneurship to economically disadvantaged and at-risk women by providing training and skills to transition out of poverty and onto a pathway of self-sufficiency. Dena, Jackie, Davina, Rebecca and Jessi spent the day rolling out clay, making bowls, trays, plates, and other decorative items to complete orders received from local businesses and their online store. Dena Ferone deserves a TON of credit and recognition, as she's volunteered here previously and was the brainchild behind coordinating the entire outing for the team! Thank you, Dena! We love hearing (and sharing) the positive impact our amazing clinicians are having on the lives of their patients! A quick shout out to Martrisha (Trish) Rodriquez, LCSW, for receiving this awesome feedback from one of her Array AtHome consumers.
