Sidonne Hobbs, assistant vice president of patient care services neuroscience, was named to Diversity MBA Media’s 17th Annual list of Top 100 Under 50 Executive & Emerging Leaders for 2023. Honorees are selected based on their impact on leadership in their companies and communities. Sidonne was recently honored as a 2023 North Carolina Great 100, has previously been honored with the DAISY Nurse Leader Award and is a 2022 Atrium Health Pinnacle Award Honoree – the highest honor a teammate can receive. We are so proud to see her recognized once again for her leadership in neurosciences patient care services and of all the Atrium Health honorees recognized on this year’s list.
Atrium Health MedCenter Air is more than air transportation, much more. When minutes can mean the difference between life and death, MedCenter Air provides emergency and critical care patient transport services. With four helicopter bases that serve North and South Carolina which are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, crews are equipped to perform emergency procedures in the helicopter in addition to quickly transporting critical patients. “Our goal is to bring hospital level care to the patient at the beside or wherever they are,” said Nate McCoy, a flight nurse for MedCenter Air. More than 75 Atrium Health teammates gathered in Uptown to walk in Charlotte’s largest street festival and parade in support of #CharlottePride. When it first began in 2001, the festival drew 2,000 attendees. Now, more than 275,000 people were in attendance. Teammates from across the organization also passed out swag and goodies at the Atrium Health tent on the festival grounds.
