Our passion for educating and empowering our clients inspired us to find a way to do the same thing for our community. AC Social is our social responsibility initiative, where we partner with local schools to teach coding skills to elementary school students. One of our talented Avenue Coders, Marcelo Xavier, shares what it's like: "The best part of AC Social is helping the kids develop logic and computational skills, and seeing how smart and capable they are. Their excitement is visible, and they have a lot of fun solving puzzles and learning from it. In a future where technology is key, I'm sure this will play an important role in their lives."
Last Sunday a group of brave Avenue Coders challenged their limits at #BravusRace Speed. Teamwork is key to overcome all the obstacles of this race, and our coders proudly made to the finish line! 💪🏅
Every connection matters. Here at Avenue Code, we are not just proud of our spectrum of technical acumen, but we’re also #proud to be made up of a vibrant and diverse group of professionals. Join us as we get connected to what makes us truly special – our colorful, talented, and vibrant Avenue Coders! Happy #Pride! 🏳️🌈
Our Avenue Code Lunch & Learn is a series of ongoing internal events where our consultants share their knowledge among their peers. We bring the food, and they bring the mastery in development through OCC, MuleSoft, AdobeAEM, and so much more. Interested in joining this amazing team? Our AC Social initiative is letting kids from E. E. Bueno Brandão learn everything from basic computer orientation to graphic design to more advanced coding skills through tailored curricula. Check out what one of our Avenue Code volunteers, Carolina Serrano, has to say about it: "Keeping up with the kids' growth has been a very rewarding experience. They're becoming increasingly skilled at Math, Logic, and especially teamwork: thinking in groups has made them able to solve difficult problems and overcome bigger challenges. This is such a valuable skill to carry through our lifetime!"
Today we had the exciting opportunity to participate in the VII Computing Week from Viçosa University. Our Manager & Software Engineer Pedro Soares introduced Avenue Code practices and culture, and talked about how we're taking #digitaltransformation to the next level. We're always proud to see our Avenue Coders taking on the challenge of sharing their expertise with the next generation of developers! #proudtobeAC
In the spirit of Mother's Day, a group of Avenue Coders paid a visit to Lareira Residencial para Senhoras, a nursing home for ladies in São Paulo. We spent a heartwarming morning there playing music and talking with these special ladies.
Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNNs), time series forecasting, and Tensorflow employment: they all may seem complex and puzzling, but our Senior Data Scientist Hossein Javedani makes them easy-peasy to understand in our newest blog post:
We had fun yesterday with IT students from UNA at our BH office! We gave them an overview of our wide range of practice areas, as well as an introduction to our culture of playfulness and professionalism here at Avenue Code.
