    BASF employees create chemistry with students at STEAM panel discussion

    BASF employees from the company's Wyandotte site were among the participants in a March 14 Women in Defense Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math panel discussion at the Michigan Science Center in Detroit. The panel featured professional women in the STEAM fields, including guest speaker retired Army Col. Patricia Sellars.

    BASF donation enhances STEM programming for Wyandotte students

    Students in teacher Greg Brovont's sixth- to eighth-grade STEM classrooms at Wilson Middle School are beneficiaries of a recent donation from BASF Corp. The company contributed $9,000 to the Wyandotte Public School system to support the purchase of classroom materials for science, technology, engineering and math programs for students in grades K-12.

    American Soybean Association and BASF award Iowa student with Soy Scholarship

    McKenna Nielsen, of Audubon, Iowa, received the 2018-19 Soy Scholarship award, sponsored by BASF and the American Soybean Association. The scholarship is a $5,000 award presented to an exceptional high school senior who excels in both academics and in leadership roles, and plans to pursue a degree in an agriculture-related field at an accredited college or university.
