BASF and Inditex have teamed up once again to introduce an innovative solution in their ongoing efforts to promote textile recycling. Zara has introduced a new garment that is made entirely from loopamid®, a polyamide 6 (PA6) material. This marks the first circular solution for nylon garments, which is made from textile waste. By adopting a "design for recycling" approach, all garment parts, including fabrics, buttons, padding, hooks, and closures, are made from loopamid®. This is a significant step toward promoting sustainability and reducing waste in the fashion industry.
