This week Junior Achievement came in to talk to our Associates about volunteering to help students succeed. JA volunteers touch the lives of more than 60,000 students in western and northern Michigan – helping them connect what they learn in school to workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. BISSELL has been a long time supporter of JA and looks forward to continuing that in 2018!
On the evening of January 19th, 2018, the full BISSELL Asia team gathered in Shenzhen for their annual Lunar New Year party celebrating success during the year of the Rooster and setting the scene for an auspicious year of the Dog. This is the biggest and most important event in the lunar calendar and was also the first time ever that the full team in China, 160 Associates (including Shenzhen, Suzhou and Hong Kong) gathered together in one location! The festivities included traditional and contemporary stage performances from our team as well as dinner and prizes.
