Colgate is supporting the World Health Organization (WHO) #SafeHands Challenge to help stop the spread of COVID-19, and relief efforts through NGOs to help those most affected by the crisis on the frontline and in our communities: Mobilizing five of our production facilities around the world to make and donate 25 million soap bars in support of the WHO #SafeHands Challenge, and to be distributed by international aid agencies Donating $20 million in health and hygiene products to community-based organizations to help medical professionals, emergency care workers and the most vulnerable populations. Activating Colgate’s first-ever global, All-Employee Matching Gifts Program to support COVID-19 relief efforts with health and hygiene needs. Colgate employees are eligible to participate and make donations from $10 to $5,000 through the program. Colgate will match $1 million in employee donations, which will go to nonprofit partners supporting those in need, such as WHO, Save the Children and CARE, among others.
