Innovation is a cornerstone of the Crowley experience. The engineers, project managers and technicians who lend their expertise and passion to Crowley are met with countless opportunities to work on projects that push the industry forward. Recently, three contributors to the eWolf U.S. all-electric tugboat, shared what they learned from the project. Together, they bolstered their abilities in communication, collaboration and sustainable design, gaining skills they will carry with them throughout their careers.
We are proud to once again partner with Wreaths Across America to honor the service and sacrifice of our U.S. military service members, both past and present. This holiday season, Crowley will sponsor and provide in-kind logistics services for thousands of wreaths from Alaska to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, reinforcing our commitment to supporting our military and its members around the world.

Crowley recently hosted students from Texas A&M University onboard the Crowley-managed tanker Stena Immaculate. During the vessel’s stay in Galveston, Texas, the students witnessed first-hand maintenance and repair operations. The Stena Immaculate operates under the U.S. Tanker Security Program and is available to transport liquid fuel supplies for the U.S. Department of Defense. This was a unique opportunity for the students as they develop their skills to join the maritime workforce.
At Crowley, we’re proud to contribute to the future of cleaner marine energy, with the introduction of our LNG bunker barge, Progress. This state-of-the-art vessel, designed by our engineering services team, and operated by our shipping team under long-term charter to Shell Marine recently completed its first bunkering operation with the cargo ship ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Mount Vinson in the Port of Savannah. Progress is the largest U.S. Jones Act-compliant vessel of its kind and represents a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to more sustainable maritime practices.
