We are excited to share that beginning Jan. 1, Megan Davidson will step into the role of chief operating officer of Crowley, succeeding Ray Fitzgerald. Ray, who's driven operational excellence as COO here for five years, and led across our industry for four decades, will continue as an advisor until his mid-2026 retirement. Megan has spent her time at Crowley building systems that help teams move faster: clear goals, leadership standards, accountability. Now she's bringing that same clarity and high performance leadership to operations. This seamless succession positions Crowley for continued growth as a U.S.-based supply chain leader.
Recently, Crowley team members partnered with Junior Achievement of North Florida to empower the next generation with financial literacy and real-world lessons in business, supply chain, logistics and maritime careers. Their collective efforts, alongside JA Heroes, reached 37 classrooms and nearly 1,000 students, a powerful example of how volunteerism fuels stronger communities and future-ready talent. We’re proud to celebrate our mariners who were recognized by the United Seamen’s Service at the 2025 Admiral of the Ocean Sea (AOTOS) Awards, one of the maritime industry’s most prestigious ceremonies honoring maritime excellence and heroism at sea. The crew of the tanker Stena Immaculate earned the AOTOS Special Recognition Plaque for their bravery and quick response when the tanker was struck by a container ship while at anchor, while the El Coquí crew received the Mariner’s Plaque for assisting in the rescue of four U.S. boaters after their sailboat sank north of the Dominican Republic. Their actions exemplify our unwavering dedication to safety and why we continuously invest in training and preparedness. These individuals define the highest standards of maritime professionalism, and we are honored to see them recognized for their extraordinary efforts. We’re proud to expand our 2025 partnership with Wreaths Across America, deepening our ongoing commitment to honor U.S. veterans and active-duty service members. This year, we are broadening our logistics support to include ocean transportation, trucking and warehousing for wreaths destined for cemeteries in St. Thomas and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additionally, we are honored to continue to provide in-kind logistics services to deliver thousands wreaths to cemeteries in Pennsylvania, Florida and Puerto Rico as well as sponsor wreaths for veterans in Alaska, Washington, Pennsylvania, Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in tribute to those who served. “Crowley greatly values the opportunity to honor veterans with Wreaths Across America.
