Here’s what being “curious” means to Engineering Technician, David LaMont Hawthorne: “Curiosity means not accepting status quo. It means an environment where the team and I ask how it can be improved. We seek out conditions and issues. We notice the current way something is working. We go towards and observe the items of operation, not avoid, evade or say 'let someone else deal with it.' We want to know if there are options and we openly collaborate to approach the challenge.”
“When I started my career here at DISH, I saw the potential there was to make money...Honestly, working here at DISH has changed my life.” Account Executive, Manny Carrasco. Thousands tuned in from all across DISH for our All Team Meeting. We celebrated the successes of our team and heard from leaders about our path ahead. The rest of 2021 and 2022 are looking bright as we continue to grow, develop and achieve in all areas of the business. After seeing everyone in person, we’re excited for all that we can accomplish together!
This past weekend was our annual intern mountain hike. This hike is such a rewarding event every year where the interns can challenge themselves, network with other DISH team members and embrace one of our core values — Adventure. All of that followed by a celebratory lunch at a local brewery, and it doesn't get more "Colorado" than that. A huge shoutout to all of our interns for making it to the top!!
Watch DISH’s Chief Human Resources Officer, David Scott, chat with Ryan Frazier this Monday on 9 News about our 5G mission and the opportunities its creating for industries, workers and the world! Great job Dave!
