To recognize #NationalFoodBankDay we held a month long non-perishable food drive across our organization and delivered the collected items to food banks across the country. It was incredible to utilize the efforts of our employees in 26 states. In just Arizona alone, we donated over 2,547 pounds of food and made a significant change in our surrounding communities! #GiveForGood
We are saddened by the events that have recently taken place in Afghanistan resulting in the death of 13 U.S. soldiers. We are forever grateful for their courage and heroism in the name of freedom. While nothing can erase the pain to the friends and families of these soldiers, as a company we are honoring these 13 by making a donation to the USO in their honor. To all veterans and active military personnel, we thank you for your valor and service to our nation.
Last week we recognized #WomensEqualityDay, a day to commemorate the adoption of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote by continuing to support and empower women in the workforce. Some of our employees, like our CEO Mary Leigh Phillips and our Head of People Robyn Jordan, cleaned out their closets and donated business professional clothing items. And some of our employees got active and tracked their miles in our virtual walk/run/swim/bike (you get the picture) event, helping us to #GiveForGood and support Dress for Success.

It was so fun (and not to mention, darn right cute) to see all of the colorful masterpieces that our DriveTime kiddos created for our coloring contest as we celebrated #BackToSchool month. We rewarded the three lucky winners with a free-month of the KidStir cooking kit as their prize for joining the contest! Time to get cooking!
