World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness held on the second Thursday of October. This year’s event is on October 12 and is designed to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment, which is the number one disability in the world.

Since Hurricane Harvey made landfall, the hearts and minds of all of Essilor of America have been with our employees, customers, friends, and family members in the affected regions. To aid in the relief efforts, Essilor will donate more than $100,000 in funds to those impacted by this catastrophic event.
