This year’s International Volunteer Day celebrates solidarity through volunteering. Our team members around the world came together for our second annual Giving Week, working with local non-profit organizations and NGOs to make their communities a better place. Combined, our efforts across 42 sites and 18 countries supported over 7,000 beneficiaries and our teams clocked in more than 2,000 volunteer hours. We highlight three sites outstanding contributions to making a difference in their communities. In Chennai, India, the team volunteered at several local organizations and schools, spending time at the flooded village of Ullavur, where they provided goods to impacted families. Our Manaus, Brazil team focused on education and socio-economic initiatives, donating time and supplies to those in need. In Althofen, Austria, the team promoted local economic opportunity through charity events and donations of fruits and vegetables grown from a local farming initiative to support people without housing.
