As part of our commitment to reduce C02 emissions, we are partnering with energy supplier Enovos Luxembourg, to build two large solar power stations at our testing facilities in Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg, which will provide clean energy for Luxembourg citizens. This initiative helps to support the Luxembourgish government in its goal to switch to 100% renewable energies.

Meet a new, customizable tire that is 100% sustainable using a biodegradable tread compound comprised of natural substances like dandelion rubber and spider silk. With reCharge’s unique ability to reload rather than replace the tire’s tread, Goodyear is pushing the limits of how today’s tire makers consider driver customization, sustainability and convenience when designing and building products.

With Goodyear’s Global Week of Volunteering coming up, Goodyear Chairman, CEO and President Rich Kramer takes a moment to highlight the importance of volunteerism and caring for our communities across the world.
Goodyear is extending its worldwide innovation network to include Mcity, the University of Michigan-led public-private partnership to advance connected and automated vehicles and technologies.
The award, presented on May 3, also distinguished Goodyear for its commitment to achieving excellence in collaboration with SIA.

The Manufacturing Institute will honor two Goodyear associates at the sixth annual Women in Manufacturing Science, Technology, Engineering and Production (STEP) Ahead Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 10. Lori Miller and Jennie Tinney will be recognized as STEP Ahead Honorees for demonstrating leadership and excellence in their respective industries and communities.
