Goodyear has released a non-pneumatic, or airless, turf tire for worry-free performance. We’ve been developing non-pneumatic technologies since the ‘70s, when we helped design tires for NASA’s Apollo lunar roving vehicle. Goodyear’s exclusive Duraweb™ Technology has been developed at the Goodyear Innovation Center in Akron, and is being manufactured in the U.S., exclusively for Bad Boy Mowers. The tire will be an option in early 2018 on the limited edition Outlaw XP. Goodyear’s Global Innovation team plans to continue developing non-pneumatic technologies for larger class vehicles.
