New York is still recovering from the impact of Hurricane Ida that brought record rainfall and flooding to the city. The effects of the storm devastated many of the communities that we serve, particularly during a time when COVID-19 is still a serious public health concern. Earlier in the pandemic, we worked with local food banks to help New Yorkers combat food insecurity. Once again, we’ve teamed up with food banks such as City Harvest, Feeding Westchester, and Island Harvest to lend our support to New Yorkers who rely food banks. We’d like to personally thank Healthfirst staff members for contributing to these organizations and we’re proud to match their donations dollar-for-dollar. Interested in joining us in helping New Yorkers in need? Consider visiting each organization’s website to directly donate.
