Last month, the InovAsians, METIS, and Interfaith Unity Council Team Member Resource Groups (TMRGs) hosted an unforgettable Diwali celebration! Thanks to dedicated Mental Health Counselors like Dena G., BA, the Inova Kellar Center has been a haven for young people facing behavioral health challenges for more than 30 years. "Being part of a team that supports and empowers teens to advocate for their mental health needs is the most fulfilling part of my job," Dena says. "We provide them with the space to feel safe and be heard. I feel so blessed to watch them flourish within a group setting and provide them with the skills they need both in and out of the program." Sisters Patricia and Phoebe both started their career journeys as Clinical Technicians in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit (CTU) at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
