New, innovative technology inside Inova ICUs improves both the patient and caregiver experience. The Envue System enhances patient safety and nutrient delivery by allowing our registered dietitians (RDs) and RNs to visualize the placement of a feeding tube using a monitor and sensors. This team completed training and competencies specific to this technology and many of these RDs also hold board certifications in nutrition support.
