February marks the beginning of Black History Month, and as we reflect on this year’s theme, “African Americans and Labor,” which focuses on the various and profound ways work of all kinds intersects with the collective experiences of Black people, we are proud to highlight our recent collaboration with the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce (CBCC). Our Denver office hosted the Black Construction Group, a special interest group of the CBCC, to provide networking and teaming opportunities. President & CEO of the CBCC Angelic Cole said the event was a “great opportunity and example to show how corporate businesses can partner and work with our small, Black-owned businesses.” As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, we look forward to becoming more involved with groups like the CBCC and furthering our goals of diversity, equity, and inclusion. ▶ Press play to see for yourself what this event was all about:
