    Women in the Mechanical Industry Initiative - MCAA

    MCAA and MSCA are hosting our first Women in the Mechanical Industry Conference this summer, bringing together women leaders from across the country. The conference will be held June 24-26, 2019 in Chicago, IL. All women employed by an MSCA or MCAA member company are encouraged to join us for this unique opportunity.

  • This year for the month of January we were pleased to have 8 MIT students join us our annual externship program. These students are a mix of electrical and mechanical engineers that assist the Milwaukee team with some projects on our new product development road map. They had a chance to test, design and prototype, and grow their knowledge and experience as engineers.

    by Arthur Thomas Brookfield-based Milwaukee Tool has acquired Sun Prairie-based Imperial Blades, a manufacturer of blades for oscillating multi-tools. "Imperial Blades is a strong brand focused on expanding and delivering a broad range of high quality solutions to the oscillating tool category," said Joseph Galli, chief executive officer of Milwaukee Tool's parent company Techtronic Industries.

    BROOKFIELD - Another expansion of Milwaukee Tool, this city's largest employer, moved forward Tuesday, June 5, with the common council approving the merger of two land parcels for a new 12,000-square-foot building on Lisbon Road. Mayor Steve Ponto said groundbreaking for the three-story, 114,500-square-foot development center at 13135 W.
