  • Congratulations to Pearson's Sharon Hague for being named No. 21 on the OUTstanding 50 Ally Executives list, presented by the FT. The list acknowledges the contribution of 50 senior executives globally who are outspoken and unwavering in their support for LGBT+ people in the workplace.

  • Pearson recently morphed all of their lactation rooms into all-around wellness rooms that can be used for meditation and other quiet-time activities. "They have become part of the culture," Pearson’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Angela Schwers, tells Moneyish. "You can dim the lighting, you can be in the dark," she says. “The wellness rooms are used every hour of every day. We get such positive feedback."

    Pearson 2018 Nine Month Trading Update (Unaudited)

    Pearson, the world's learning company, is today providing an update on trading in the first nine months of 2018. On track to meet full year expectations Total revenues were flat year on year with declines in US Higher Education Courseware offset by the rest of the company growing in aggregate.

    It's a job seeker's market, with low unemployment, projected pay raises, and nearly two-thirds of U.S. employers planning to hire full-time, permanent workers in the second half of 2018. This could lead to more companies hiring for flexible jobs.

"Although there is still much to do, we have had a good first half and continued to make progress against our strategic priorities. We are driving ahead in digital learning, helping more people develop the skills they need to prosper in a fast changing world," said CEO John Fallon.

    NEW YORK, NY - Pearson, the digital education company, today announced the appointment of Madhur Aggarwal to lead the company's digital business. Aggarwal joins Pearson on July 23 as senior vice president, digital channels and experience from SAP, where he was SVP and general manager of SAP Digital.
