Who doesn’t love a bagel for breakfast? Last week, we celebrated National Bagel day with bagels in all of our offices.
This week we held our monthly Lunch with Leadership in our Salt Lake City Office with special guest, Anita Messal, Chief Operating Officer. Our goal for these meetings is to drive transparency to our company goals, provide easy access to the leadership and build employee engagement. Employees also get to meet with peers from other departments and have an open dialogue on issues that are important. At PlanSource, we are proud of the fact that our leaders are easily accessible and care about open communications.
Having fun is an important value at PlanSource. We support the science behind how having fun at work can allow better outcomes for our clients and ourselves. Accordingly, we celebrated National Fun Day at Work in many of our offices this week! Our hard working employees spent some time playing the Wii and card games with their co-workers while enjoying some delicious snacks.
PlanSource hosted National Pie Day in various offices this week with a variety of pies – our nations favorite holiday food. This was an opportunity for colleagues to get together, eat and enjoy their favorite pies. Yum, that was a great break from a busy work day!
In the spirit of having some fun, we celebrated the National Popcorn Day in all of our offices with a wide variety of flavored popcorn. Did you know, popcorn has its own language? In popcorn jargon, a popped kernel is called a flake. Those flakes’ petals, which are white on one side, hull on the other, are known as wings. Unpopped kernels are called spinsters. Our Minneapolis office also enjoyed the day today by wearing purple in hopes for a big win for the Vikings this Sunday in the NFC Championships. Nothing would be better than a hometown team in the Super Bowl. SKOL Vikings!
Despite the Holidays and busy season past us, it may be difficult to find time to get out and exercise during the work day. At PlanSource, we decided to bring the option to exercise right to the employee’s desk! The DeskCycle makes it easy to get safe and effective exercise while working at one’s desk.
Our CEO, Dayne Williams, congratulated and thanked all employees today for a very successful 2017. This success would not have happened without all the hard work by our employees. As a show of appreciation, we distributed PlanSource-branded designer backpacks to employees. Thanks for having our back - here’s to an even better 2018!
As part of our recently announced partnership with the Minneapolis division of One Digital Health and Benefits, we are proud to welcome several new employees to PlanSource. Our Minneapolis office is excited to have all the new employees.
Our Grand Rapids Office had a wonderful holiday celebration this week. Employees spent some quality time together and enjoyed a wonderful spread of catered food and local entertainment. Our CEO, Dayne Williams welcomed employees and their families and thanked them for all their hard work and dedication to meet client commitments! This has been a year of good change for our employees in Grand Rapids and we appreciate their contributions. We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.
Our Salt Lake City office celebrated our annual holiday party this week. PlanSource employees and their families enjoyed a prime rib and chicken lunch including having fun with a magician! There was also a fun holiday photo booth. Our CEO, Dayne Williams, thanked everyone for an incredible year and one of the busiest Q4s we have had so far. We are thankful to families and loved ones of our employees for supporting them during this hectic season.
