Last week, our Salt Lake City office hosted their annual holiday potluck. This is a great time for employees to get together to celebrate the holiday season. We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving with their loved ones.
At PlanSource, we have a busy year-end and in order to prepare our Employee Engagement Committee has been organizing free On-Site Chair Massages sponsored by the company. We appreciate all the hard work and dedication from all our employees, so we always like to have special “Stress-Buster” treats. We want employees feeling healthier and happier – all season long.
One of main values of PlanSource is “Exceptional Customer Experience” which we strive to give our customers every day. Yesterday in all of our offices we celebrated our customer satisfaction survey results by throwing a pizza party as a thank you to all employees!
As we continue finding ways to have fun during our busy Q4 season, we had an event called “Treat Yo Self”. Employees had the opportunity to grab a yummy treat or drink to help break up their day, take a breather or just get up and interact with their colleagues.
Last week, our employees participated in a team building event where they switched places at their table to complete each other’s painting. This is fun because everyone has the opportunity to touch each other’s paintings and everyone does their best to make it perfect. It's a great way to demonstrate that even though each person has their own individual role, it takes everyone doing their part to make things complete to make their team successful. As Henry Ford once said, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” This was a great opportunity to bring everyone in our Salt Lake City office together to do a creative team building activity.
Trick or Treat? Surely celebrating Halloween in our offices today is simply a treat! We had tons of fun during our very busy Q4 time with costume contests, dessert contests and decorating contests. Everyone was very creative with their costumes and had a great spooky time celebrating.
Last Friday was the annual in office Trick-or-Treating event for all of the PlanSource kids! The kids made our office adorable instead of spooky.
PlanSource is always giving back in our local communities. We even give 8 hours of paid volunteer time to full-time employees. Lora Sorsen from our Ada office just went on a mission trip to Kenya. Every year since 2011, she has been going to Africa to do a project to help ease the suffering of many. This year she was able to do a well drilling project in a small village in Mt. Elgon called Kaptola, through Healing Hands International. This community will no longer fight typhoid which causes death to many who cannot afford treatment from the sickness. This water also increases the value of the land in this community and resolves the long walks which can be over 3 miles one way to the rivers for many young and old woman.
Last week, we hosted our Q3 Town Hall meeting where we discussed meeting our 2017 objectives along with giving operations and product updates. We also announced the Employee of the Quarter awards. Congrats to all the winners in Q1, Q2, and Q3. PlanSource is lucky to have you as an employee!
Last week, our Orlando office participated in our Q4 team building activity. This allowed employees to get together and paint their own photo in a team setting. Working on a team symbolizes the way we all work together at PlanSource to sell, develop, implement, and service our clients. Great job to our Orlando team on making all your paintings so unique!
