A colossal round of applause for the 15 remarkable individuals who won the annual CRE Scholarship for Women and Underrepresented Professionals from NAIOP and Prologis! Our team enjoyed getting to know some of you this week at #ICONWest! “Supporting and encouraging this rising group of commercial real estate professionals not only benefits their futures but also our companies’ futures as we seek to attract and retain top talent,” said Kim Snyder, executive director with Prologis and immediate past NAIOP chair. As part of the program, each recipient will have the opportunity to earn the NAIOP Certificate of Advanced Study in Commercial Real Estate Development, delivered through courses in NAIOP’s The Center for Education, at no cost.
Shout out to the ladies on our Phoenix team who volunteered with St. Mary's Food Bank in honor of Women’s History Month! They were able to pack 3,168 Emergency Food Boxes for families in need, creating a positive impact on the lives of neighbors across Arizona.
The Tracy office celebrated #BlackHistoryMonth by joining Claims Manager (and culinary maestro) Promise Flowers to learn how to make collard greens! Promise taught her teammates how to properly clean, cut and cook this healthy comfort food, pairing it with iron-skillet cornbread and a spread of BBQ ribs, mac n' cheese and chili beans sourced from Jesse, a local minority-owned pit master. The team came together to finish their meal by enjoying sweet potato pie and soul food.
We have brought on some very talented landscapers to work on our Moissy Chevrons park – and they are the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). They’re also actual goats and sheep. Eco-grazing is a technique that involves leveraging herbivores to maintain outdoor areas. This natural method eliminates noise and air pollution, minimizes green waste, benefits soil quality and enhances biodiversity. And kudos to the RECX Manager and Facilities Manager, who brought this project to life!
Our Houston team rang in the Lunar New Year with a delicious lunch at Asian-owned Kim Son Restaurant. In the heart of local Chinatown, the team enjoyed an array of Asian street foods, soups, dim sum and desserts, while sharing fun facts and memories about the holiday. The team wore red for good luck and also discussed which zodiac animals they see themselves as, based on traits and personalities. Thank you to our Asian Leadership Network for fostering opportunities for our teams to learn about Asian cultures.
At this year’s Diwali celebration, talented Prologis employees showcased their dance skills in a Bollywood performance — a choreography they spent over a month rehearsing. Our Fremont, Tracy and San Francisco employees indulged in the rich flavors of Indian cuisine and enjoyed other traditional festivities like mehndi/henna art. The city of Fremont has a large South Asian population that celebrates #Diwali every year and this was a great way to learn about and connect with this part of our community. The Energy team and the Asian Leadership Network (ALN) further supported this community by providing artisanal gifts from local Asian-owned small businesses and sending them to 38 Prologis offices in North America. Events like these are key to reinforcing an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and most importantly, celebrated.
This year, we celebrate our legacy – 40 years of excellence in logistics real estate. Our Co-Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Hamid Moghadam, shared his perspective on our company's three most pivotal milestones via this blog post:
Our global IMPACT Day is when every Prologis employee steps away from their day-to-day to make a difference. In each city where we operate, our employees choose a cause they are passionate about and show up in full force. From cleaning the bank of the Świder River in Masovia to making repairs at a shelter in Hamburg to feeding the hungry in Munich to harvesting crops to feed the hungry in Orlando to knitting blankets for the children's hospital in Denver, our teams make a real difference in their communities.

In addition, we have committed to partnering with leading external groups to drive decarbonization across the industry value chain, including sustainable building materials innovation.
From surpassing customer expectations to joining a network of coworkers that he can rely on and, most importantly, finding a workplace with the flexibility that fits his family's needs, here’s why Timor feels Prologis is the ideal workplace to grow.
