QSC would like to wish all those celebrating a Happy Hanukkah! Hanukkah is currently taking place, and runs from November 28th to December 6th this year. Those participating in celebrations will light a new candle in the menorah each night as the week goes on. Some also celebrate by playing dreidel, making specific foods, exchanging gifts, and spending time with their family and friends. Happy Hanukkah everyone!

QSC would like to wish a Happy Diwali to all those celebrating this week! Diwali is a five day festival of lights that symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance" and it is celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists around the world. The word Diwali comes from the Sanskrit word deepavali, meaning "rows of lighted lamps". During this holiday, houses, shops, and public places are decorated with small oil lamps called diyas.
QSC partnered with Orange County United Way, to help put together Welcome Home Baskets for individuals and families who are coming out of homelessness and into permanent housing to help them settle into their new homes. We asked our employees to donate basic necessities to help make these new houses feel like homes! Last Thursday, a few of our employees took time out of their busy days to help put together the baskets for this wonderful cause.
