SP+ is proud to announce the promotion of Ritu Vig as President of the Aviation Division. Previously, Ritu served as our Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary and was responsible for leading the Company’s transformation priorities, acquisition strategy, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. In her new role, Ritu is responsible for driving the strategy of our Aviation Division which serves our airport and airline clients worldwide.

Chris brings over 20 years of experience to the position, having joined SP+ as an Operations Manager in 2001. Most recently, Chris was appointed Chief Strategy Officer for the Commercial Division, where he has been instrumental in developing the Division’s growth strategy and helping to optimize the delivery of technology products and mobility services, including the Sphere™ brand. Chris’s strong strategic, tactical and leadership skills across several geographic operating divisions will be an asset as we strive to blend the most talented people with innovative technology that benefits our clients, customers, and associates.

Expansion of Denver International Airport’s (DEN) Bag Drop service, operated by Bags, that allows CLEAR members to pre-book their checked luggage – providing passengers an exceptional customer experience by saving them even more time and eliminating congestion at airline ticket counters. CLEAR members can find a specially-dedicated lane for them at the Bag Drop location at the Transit Center platform near the RTD A-line. DEN’s Bag Drop service leverages Sphere Express™ technology to check-in luggage and issue boarding passes so passengers can check their luggage, skip the airline ticket counter and proceed directly to security. Parking in the City of New Orleans just got easier! SP+ is proud to announce we have upgraded the on-street metered parking program in New Orleans by implementing our industry-leading Sphere® suite of technologies, which was specifically designed to streamline high-traffic parking programs and create a seamless experience for parking customers. As a result, the City’s on-street parking process has been simplified for their customers and now offers pay-by-text and pay-by-plate options.
