Last week Sony Electronics and the Poway Unified School district invited to attend the 3rd Annual Career Technical Education Expo (CTE) at the Sony campus in San Diego. Parents, business and community leaders had a chance to engage with students as they showcased products they have developed over this last school year. CTE classes provide students with the skills needed to succeed in furthering their education and career goals and range from Computer Science to Construction Technology and from Agriculture to Animation. #TeamSony #SonyCares

In celebration of today's Earth Day we hosted our annual Earth Day Fair at the Sony campus in San Diego! Visitors received special giveaways, such as fancy reusable straws, interacted with local vendors, viewed an employee electric vehicle car show, played games and participated in PSVR interactive nature experiences. Earlier this week our teams throughout North America, came together to celebrate Sony Electronics' excellent performance in 2018 and to align on our key objectives for 2019. The Program included our 37th annual Sony Samurai Inductee ceremony, where we recognized our greatest team members for outstanding achievements. The activities also included a networking lunch, Paint and Neon Paint Classes, a Paint Artist Performance followed by Dinner, DJ, Dancing and local band vibes. #TeamSony
Yesterday, our HR Team in San Diego invited their colleagues to an Open House Event. This was an opportunity for the team to showcase their group's talents and for employees to learn more about resources available to them, all while making new connections over coffee, healthy snacks and quick fix massage sessions. Our in-house gym crew stopped by as well to demonstrate some foam roller exercises and to provide suggestions on practical ways to incorporate a healthy lifestyle. #TeamSony

Last week we welcomed another group of students from the University of San Diego and San Diego State University to Sony’s SEE (Student Educational Experience) Program. The 50 Students were split into groups to maximize their learning experiences in several fields such as Sound Engineering, Software Engineering, Marketing and much more.
