Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen an overwhelming amount of inspiration, hope, and creativity flowing through the veins of our imaging community. Today, we’d like to chip in with a special video message that comes directly from the hearts and minds of our Alpha Family – The Sony Artisans of Imagery and Alpha Imaging Collective. We asked them to share a bit of wisdom and some advice on how they are navigating through this difficult time, and the videos poured in.
Sony Corporation has announced the establishment of the “Sony Global Relief Fund for COVID-19,” a 100 million US dollar fund to support those around the world affected by the COVID-19 virus. Through this fund, Sony will provide support in three areas: assistance for those individuals engaged in front line medical and first responder efforts to fight the virus, support for children and educators who must now work remotely, and support for members of the creative community in the entertainment industry, which has been greatly impacted by the spread of the virus. Our teams in Canada kicked off The #ShoeboxProject with The Big Game Lunch Fundraiser & Raffle. The Shoebox Project for Women is a registered charity that collects and distributes gift-filled Shoe-boxes to women impacted by homelessness in communities across Canada, the United States and United Kingdom.
