Before the holiday we had some fun, festive autumn celebrations with a family fun day at Clark's Elioak Farm and Manor Hill Brewing as well as a Thanksgiving potluck in the office! It's so fun seeing these friendly faces outside HQ and while getting some beautiful sunny weather. Also, the Synergist chefs never fail to impress.
We hosted our 4th annual chili cook off last week, and like years past, the chilis did not disappoint! We have so many talented chefs here and it was a really close race. Two chilis tied for 1st place - 'How the West was Won' and 'Sweet n' Sassy'. Congrats to the big winners! You get bragging rights for a year.
Our research team has had an exciting month in the field working with the Navy on their next generation of communication networking. One Synergist employee was able to sail aboard the ship for 8 days from Hawaii to California while supporting the upgrade of ship systems. Not a bad office view!
October has been a fun month around these parts and there's still more to come! We've enjoyed a pavilion BBQ lunch, a night out at Top Golf, and our annual Chili Cook Off returns in two weeks! It's always a fun time with this crew.
Thus far in 2022, our Synergist folks have traveled to 34 states and 11 countries! Here is a peek at some of their adventures ✈️ There is a lot of talk about "work-life balance" in corporate America but few companies live the values of that catch phrase. One way we commit to a healthier balance is by giving full-time employees 6 weeks of PTO each year.
Each month we are bagging lunches to support the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center. The center helps struggling individuals and families in the Columbia area who are in need of food and shelter. Big thanks to the Syners who came and helped out!
July brought a fun happy hour at a new local spot with a surprise Synergist-branded Oreo gifted by an employee. We've dubbed them SynOreos. They left fingers and mouths blue for hours 😂 It was so fun! Thanks to everyone who came out!

Synergist has received some incredible recognition these last two months and we are really excited to share them with you!
