Reflecting on 2024 at Sysco 🎉 This year, our colleagues truly embodied Sysco’s purpose of connecting the world to share food and care for one another. Here are some highlights from the year that showcase their incredible impact: 🌟 Hurricane Relief: After hurricanes devastated parts of the Southeast, Sysco donated over $80,000 in essential products, including 25,000 bottles of water and 5,000 burgers, to families and businesses in need. In Houston, we delivered 23,000 bottles of water, 10,000 pieces of fruit, and more to cooling centers, ensuring critical aid reached those affected. 💖 Giving Back: During Purpose Month, over 5,200 colleagues across 190+ locations partnered with 1,200+ charitable organizations to make a difference in the communities where we live and work. From donating 10,000 turkeys nationwide for Thanksgiving to packing meals and supporting local food banks, our teams showed the power of giving back. 🚛 Supporting Our Drivers: Sysco sites across the globe came together during Truck Driver Appreciation Week to celebrate our incredible delivery partners. From heartfelt thank-you notes and team lunches to gift giveaways, we recognized the dedication and hard work of the drivers who keep us connected to our customers every day. As the end of 2024 approaches, we reflect on some of the most memorable moments from the year. March 22 - Sysco held an event in Louisville, KY where Sysco CEO Kevin Hourican gathered with Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and Louisville Fire Chief Brian O'Neill to express our appreciation for the remarkable efforts of the first responders who aided in rescuing our delivery partner from the Clark Memorial Bridge. May 14 - Sysco celebrated the growth of our electric heavy-duty fleet including the recent arrival of 10 heavy-duty electric tractors at our Sysco operating site in Houston, TX. This milestone brought us closer to our goal of reducing direct emissions by 27.5% by 2030. May 20 - Grand opening of Sysco Allentown, our new state-of-the-art, 454,000 square foot distribution center in Northampton, PA Nov 11 - Sysco was honored to be the official partner for the MICHELIN Guide Texas ceremony.

Sysco was honored to be the official partner for the MICHELIN Guide Texas ceremony on November 11! We were excited to engage with MICHELIN-starred chefs and support this iconic celebration of culinary excellence, right here in our headquartered city of Houston. Sysco’s Chief Merchandising Officer Victoria Gutierrez presented the MICHELIN Guide Young Chef Award at the ceremony, honoring creative, emerging culinary stars who are shaping the future of food. Congratulations to Edgar Rico of Nixta Taqueria for winning the Young Chef Award and to our Sysco customers that received a MICHELIN Star or another MICHELIN Guide distinction during the ceremony. Here’s to recognizing talent, supporting our culinary community, and savoring a new chapter in Texas dining! 🥂
Sysco teams across the Southeast have stepped up to support communities impacted by recent hurricanes. With over $80,000 in essential products donated, Sysco partnered with disaster relief groups, local restaurants, healthcare facilities and volunteers to assist families and businesses in need - including over 5,000 burgers, 25,000 bottles of water! In Georgia, more than 600 families lined up to receive water and dry goods from our teams. Sysco Carolinas also donated a trailer full of water and food to Caring for Others to help those in Augusta, which you may have spotted on Good Morning America! In Florida, Sysco supplied prepackaged meals for police officers on Anna Maria Island and partnered with a local restaurant in Jacksonville to cook and serve burgers and hotdogs, bringing comfort to the community. Our customer partnerships were a critical part of this effort. A major hospital system in Florida activated emergency disaster plans with Sysco, allowing them to keep serving thousands of patients and caregivers. David Reeves of Lee Health shared, “The coordination and dedication displayed by the Sysco team was crucial in helping us maintain operations. throughout this challenging time and the subsequent recovery efforts.” To all our Sysco colleagues who have shown such incredible resilience and heart: thank you for embodying our purpose to connect the world to share food and care for one another. hashtag#SyscoStrong
