We’re thrilled to announce Rare Finds, a highly-curated, ultra-luxury destination on therealreal.com, which houses rare, unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, some having been worn by the likes of iconic celebrities. To help us celebrate the launch of Rare Finds, designer clothing collector Keni Valenti consigned more than 300 pieces from his personal collection, all featured within this new category and live now on TRR. Still swooning over our dinner party celebrating the Consign Commitment and Celebrity Closet Sale! Rati Sahi Levesque hosted a room full of guests passionate about sustainability and fashion, many of whom wore pieces sourced from our site and the Closet Sale itself. Today is a big day for The RealReal! On October 2nd, we announced our Consign Commitment where we asked our community everywhere to commit to circulating 1 out of 5 items in their closet to help combat the climate crisis. In conjunction with that Commitment, we’ve partnered with 19 iconic, fashion muses for a star-studded Closet Sale during National Consignment Month. The curated collection comes from the closets of Kate Moss, Veronica Webb, Julianne Moore, Tessa Thompson, Sophia Bush, Laura Harrier, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Meena Harris, Mia Moretti, Ivy Getty, Lake Bell, and more. October 2nd is National Consignment Day, an official holiday created by TRR to raise awareness of the benefits of resale! According to a report by McKinsey & Company, recirculating one in five items will help put fashion on track to achieve the Paris Fashion Climate Accord goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees celsius.
