On March 2nd, Derick Schaefer, Chief Technology Officer at Trintech, and Christian Gunaseelan, Financial Analyst at Trintech participated in the Dallas Stars Foundation’s Big Heart Celebrity Challenge hockey tournament geared to raise money for the American Heart Association. Schaefer and Gunaseelan teamed up on the defensive line where their team, ‘The Blazers’, competed in 3 games, winning 2!
During this chilly season in Texas, two Trintechers are lacing up their skates and taking to the ice to raise money for the inaugural charity event of the Dallas Stars Foundation – The Stars Big Heart Celebrity Challenge. This event combines local amateur hockey teams with former NHL players to compete in a one-day tournament. Our very own Derick Schaefer, Chief Technology Officer at Trintech, and Christian Gunaseelan, Financial Analyst at Trintech, will be participating and fundraising toward a goal of $2,000 in support of the American Heart Association.
On Thursday, November 1st, Trintech was recognized at the 28th Annual SMU Cox Dallas 100™ Awards Ceremony and Banquet held at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas. “The event recognizes fast-growing, privately held corporations, proprietorships or partnerships headquartered in the Dallas area that create economy-enhancing jobs and income for their founders and employees,” according to Simon Mak, Associate Director of the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU Cox.
