Veritiv supports our veterans, military and their families. The company donated Atlanta United tickets for a raffle where 100 percent of the proceeds supported American Legion Post 160 and its veterans. In addition, Veritiv hosted the American Legion Post 160 Board Members for a night out at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Wednesday, July 17. Did you know that someone in the United States requires a blood transfusion every two seconds? In honor of World Blood Donor Day, we wanted to say thank you to all the donors! We’re proud to partner with The American Red Cross through our community engagement and philanthropy program, Veritiv Connects. Our employees support Red Cross by organizing blood drives across our many communities and by making monetary donations. Thank you donors, you are truly saving lives!
A big thank you to our team of Veritiv volunteers who joined with the City of Peachtree Corners again this year to clean up Crooked Creek in Georgia. One of our primary focus areas is healthy living, and this team demonstrated that by volunteering this past Saturday morning to help decontaminate one of our waterways.
