#NationalVolunteerWeek is here, but we give back throughout the year. In March, 98 employees and Veritiv Connects volunteers gave 211 hours of their time giving food, essential items, and mentorship to organizations across the country. Here’s how our volunteers gave back: Junior Achievement of Georgia–Volunteers mentored high school students in entrepreneurship as part of the 3DE program. Boys & Girls Clubs of America– Our Leadership, Engagement, and Advanced Development (LEAD) Program banded together in a friendly competition to make a dozen STEM kits for a local afterschool program to aid in the students’ educational development. Camillus House– The Veritiv Miami team helped prepare 600 meals for men and women experiencing homelessness. The Spring of Tampa Bay– Veritiv Tampa volunteers hosted a successful food and clothing donation drive.
