Jessie Karosos, President of Pride Collective and Inside Account Manager said, “I look forward to creating the most accepting and welcoming group of individuals we possibly can. We are enabling people from all different backgrounds and walks of life to come together to try and better understand each other as individuals and create a safe space where everyone feels like they can be themselves.” #Culture #Pride #OneTeam
For #TeamTuesday, we spoke with Veritiv’s Wichita, Kansas division who is home to 20 team members including Sales, Warehouse Workers, Drivers, and an Equipment Technician, all representing Packaging and Facility Solutions. The culture in Wichita is strong, and they enjoy giving back to their local community with several activities planned. Little known fact, Wichita is the only location that can say they sell to a company that raises and sells Madagascar Cockroaches! #OneTeam #VeritivExperts #Culture

To better align with its sustainability goals GoPro challenged Veritiv to eliminate the use of plastics in its direct-to-consumer packaging. By partnering with Veritiv, GoPro successfully removed single-use plastics in its camera packaging and continues the momentum in all areas. The end design removed plastic cases, bags, and protective films and replaced each with fiber-based materials. It is reassuring to know that the materials are sourced sustainably to help protect our land, water, and air. In total, GoPro has reduced its total carbon footprint equivalent by 7 million miles driven by cars, reduced water usage equivalent to 108 million gallons of water, and reduced energy equivalent to 455,000 homes powered per day. GoPro strives to be a force for positivity and their new sustainable packaging is an example to be followed. She ensures safety protocols are discussed daily with pre-shift meetings and makes sure the fleet is in top working condition. Two of the drivers Nancy oversees were selected in the top 25 for safety in 2022. #WomeninTrucking #OneTeam #Driving
For #TeamTuesday, we’d like to spotlight our Billings, Montana team who have a wonderful local culture with a small team who wear multiple hats throughout the day to get the job done through high winds, open spaces, and lots of snow. Operations Manager, Stacey Seifert, hosts daily huddles to discuss our Veritiv goals of safety and culture. Billings is our only site to have overnight routes for delivery, because Montana is the fourth largest state in the union. When the workday ends, our team enjoys the great outdoors – hiking, camping, rafting, skiing, and more. #OneTeam #VeritivExperts #Culture
