Goodbye 2018, hello 2019! It's going to be a great year ahead.
Happy Holidays from the entire Webcor family! Wishing you a safe and joyful holiday season!
The Menlo Gateway Phase II team spread some holiday cheer this week by volunteering at St. Anthony's Church - sorting food and packing lunches for families in need. The team also organized a toy drive for the Menlo Fire Department, with many of our subcontracting partners also donating toys!
Earlier this month, the UC Merced 2020 team participated in the Hometown Christmas Parade, designing a float made entirely out of recyclable materials collected from their project site. The team was thrilled to find out that their float won first place in the float design competition!
With the holidays quickly approaching, the last weeks of December seem to pass by in a flurry. But yesterday, seven Webcorians took the time to volunteer with KEEN SF, an organization that holds monthly basketball camp for children with special teams. Both kids and volunteers had a great time!
This morning, Webcor Project Director Kerriann McDermott and Project Engineer Stefanie Cooke paid a special visit to the Julia Morgan School for Girls to speak to a class of 6th graders about careers in construction. Such a fun morning spent with bright and talented students!
