We're a week into #NationalHispanicHeritageMonth and celebrations are just getting started! Recently, we renamed our Latinx Employee Belonging Council to Unidos. Unidos Global Co-Liaison, Stefanie, is sharing the reason behind the name change and how Workmates are celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month inclusive of our international Unidos community members. #WDAYLife
Willkommen, take a tour through our office in Munich, Germany. From the rooftop cityscape views to bright, airy, modern workspaces and a rooftop garden, it's all here! 🌍
As a first-generation Latina and first in her family to graduate from a four-year university, Workmate Elsa's goal was to pave the way for future generations in her family and inspire others to explore new horizons. But in the process, Elsa put mental health on the back burner and her overall health suffered. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Elsa is sharing her story in the hopes of normalizing discussions about mental health struggles and encouraging others to focus on mental health as part of their overall wellbeing. Thank you, Elsa, for sharing your story with us.

Pete Schlampp, our EVP of product development, and Sayan Chakraborty, our EVP of technology, share how we foster product and technology innovation through our culture to best serve our customers.
Workday was founded on a disruptive idea, and we’ve thrived since our founding because of our commitment to our core values and dedication to creating value for all of our stakeholders. Our customers and our employees see those values in action. In that spirit, we're proud to announce the release of our 2019 Global Impact Report, which serves as a strong reminder of these commitments and our roots.
Most people support the idea of growing diversity and inclusion in the corporate world because it’s the “right thing to do.” No question there. Yet what sometimes gets missed in the discussion is why having more diverse teams leads to better ideas and decisions, and ultimately, greater innovation. That’s where Frans Johansson comes in. Johansson—author, speaker, and co-founder and CEO at The Medici Group—has made it his life’s work to help businesses understand how they can accelerate their innovation and growth through diversity, with a client list that has included Disney, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer. At Workday, we were excited to have Johansson participate in a panel discussion with several of our executives during VIBE Week, June 3-7, that was livestreamed to our employees across the globe.
VIBE Week is for Workday employees, but with so much great content, we’d love to share some of what we learn with others.
