We have a bold vision to be 100% carbon free by 2050. You can see our progress toward that goal in this time lapse video of the chimney coming down at the Black Dog plant in Burnsville, MN. A symbolic final piece of the plant’s transition from coal to natural gas that was completed in 2018. We’ve retired 25% of our coal fleet since 2007, reducing carbon emissions 38% from 2005 levels.
