I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Apple (West Palm Beach, FL) in May 2010
Interview
There was a group of about 6, and we interviewed as a group. They just asked some general customer service questions, and our experiences with apple and their products, it almost seemed like a focus group. After the interview was over, we were called to meet with the store manager and hiring manager 1:1 briefly, they asked me to submit a podcast telling why I wanted to work for apple with in 24 hours. Next day I got an email asking me to e-sign for the backround check, and the day after that got a call asking me to come back for a 1:1 interview with the market manager.
It’s a very long process so have patience. Sometimes they will give you feedback but if you are external you will just receive a turn down email. Keep applying. Apple says it’s not a NO. It’s a not now and that’s very true.
Famously competitive as always, my odds were better since I kept updating my resume whenever I was on the job search. They reached out to me first by email, I completed an application, and then had three rounds of interviews in total.
